Monitor your baby via iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch

January 31, 2012

It had to come – the new wifi baby monitor that allows parents to see and hear their baby through an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

It’s called BabyPing an the developers are calling it the “Constant-Connect”. It has “Smart Filter” technology to cut out the background noise and static that one sometimes gets with baby monitors, plus it informs you if your baby cries, if the wifi connection has been broken, or if your device is out of range. There is also invisible infrared night vision. (it seems all it doesn’t do is change nappies and do feeds)

There’s no word on when it’s launching or whether it will be available in SA. I’ll post here if/when it does…
