Imagine if you had an extra hour in the day. What would you do with it? Imagine the difference we could make to our lives and others’? With an extra hour, I’d probably exercise a little more, spend more quality time with my son, and do some good to help someone else.
I’ve just signed up to the Jungle Oats One Hour Project on their website, and they want to hear from you too. Not only can you win R20 000 by going to their site and committing to a project, but if you sign up and tell me what you’d do with an extra hour in the day, you can win of two R1000 gift vouchers here.

PS: I recently tried Jungle Oats Instant porridge. It’s divine drizzled with some maple syrup, and this quick version is already saving me a precious few minutes in the morning.

Dedicating my egg donation to one of my #OneHourProjects…more than an hour, but I believe it’s a worthy project! X
Wow what an awesome prize. My son loves his jungle oats
With my hectic lifestyle of joggling between a fulltime job, family and household responsibilties as well as part time studies, I’m always in a rush 24/7 and hardly find time to relax or even have the time to go out with friends. If I had an extra hour in a day, I would spend the extra hour on myself. Go shopping, excercise & spend some time with friends. Haven’t been out with friends for more than a year now. I have tweeted. Shared the post to facebook and have been to Jungle Oats website and registered for their project using facebook. My twittername: online61524
Hey there,
Ive joined via their website and I have pledged to go through all our cupboards and donate all our old clothes (adult and kiddie) as well as all our old toys to those less fortunate.
I have posted to Twitter and FB
Awesome comp….as a single mom I have no time for myself..from the time I wake up my clock starts ticking, right until I go to bed, with one extra hour I will make that “me time”, can you ever imagine soaking in the bubble bath, reading your favourite mag or even painting your nails without feeling guilty..wow..I cant wait for that time.
An extra hour would be heaven! I would spend that hour with my little boy and my hubby. Some special family bonding time. Perhaps going for a walk, doing a craft project, going for a game drive… Wow, R1000 is an amazing prize and would be very much appreciated. x
Mom dad and both little boys love oats pappies. And its so filling and healthy. Great give away
What would i do with an extra hour! Hmm would surely spent that extra hour also with my little girl they grow up so fast i would take lovely photo’s to keep those memories and just amaze myself with her adorable smile and happy self. So i will spend my hour with my little girl as a little one myself watching kiddie stories and ly around on the ground play in the mud and bake some mud cakes and drink water and believe its hotchocolate. Having a reason to be young at heart myself for that hour! Without anybody that can laugh at one hehe
Ah, would so love to spend an extra hour finishing off my studies!!
since my hubby lost his job I have been working 2 jobs to keep our family going. If I had an extra hour I would like to just spend time with my 2 girls. Tickling their little tummies and I could spend the entire hour just listening to their sweet giggles.
With an extra hour a day I would finally start on that book that’s been drifting around in my head…
What would I do with 1 extra hour? I would spend it with my hubby with his long hours at work my busy day looking after my 2 boys we don’t get any time to spend together! Just the 2 of us!
I would use that extra hour just for myself…be it going to the gym, having a cup of tea and reading a magazine, watching my favourite tv show.
I’d love to finish revisions on the latest draft of my young adult paranormal novel. I’ve got the last fifty pages to go…
If I could have an extra hour I would take my 4 kids out buy them school uniform pay their school fees & buy them warm clothes for winter. As we are struggling a lot at d moment since my husband’s cab was crashed that was our main source of income. They deserve it its sad
Shoe, what will I do with an extra hour a day. Being a working mom/wife, the time you get home work just starts all over again, bathing baby, feeding, cooking, getting everything ready for the next day…that time go’s by so quickly before you know it, it’s time for bed and there was no family time. So I’ll spend my extra hour on “FAMILY TIME” it’s so important to keep a healthy family life, connecting via love.
One hour exstra… I wil spent the time with my two girls and my hubby, and make them jungle oats. We seldom get time to eat together. Familytime.
If only an extra Hour in the day existed.. I would dedicate it to an to a few minutes more of praying time..Just to Thank God for The blessing me in so many ways, a few minutes more Blowing bubbles outside and kicking ball with my 2yr old lil treasure, few minutes more just cooing with my Baby boy,few more minutes of quality time with my hubby and if there’s any minutes left I’d close my eyes just. And Smile for a Minute on just how Many More Smiles i achieved by having an extra hour.
Awsom giveaway, my son and I never start our day without jungle oats…yummy
With an one extra hour I would love to spend quality time with my hubby and grandchildren cuase life is too short and we need every extra hour to be with them
great give away! I have joined in on the website
And shared to facebook and twitter
fantastic giveaway, jungle oats is a good way to start your day and for the lttle tummies aswel.
I would definately take a bath by myself, wash my hair and style it maybe tweeze my brows, wax my moustache do the whole 3 step thingy wash, tone n moisturise or maybe I will remove the hair from my legs or sort my clothes give the old ones away.I haven’t done these things since I’ve had my 3rd lil girl its so amazing how time flies I guess one extra hour would make a difference in my life:)
With an extra hour to spare, I’d have to say I’d definitely spend my time with those I take for granted each and every day…my family. Just because they will always be there for me and I know that I can always depend on them, doesn’t mean they should be taken for granted… They deserve my undivided attention, my undying love every second and every minute of the day… And of all things, an hour is the least I could give.
My family love Jungle Oats. Lots of sugar and milk, with a dash of butter over it.
Followed all steps. Posted on fb and twitter(@Debz1e)
Would love to take a nap in the afternoon if I had an extra hour!!
an extra hour would be glad to sleep an hour in the morning cause I have to wake up 5 o’ clock every monring
I have been looking into this one hour project, but i keep getting errors on their website. I would love to have an extra hour a day and spend it using the reduce, reuse, recycle concept in making recycled art, i would also love to impart the knowledge of the importance of the 3 R`s to my children and others… thanks you for this competition, it helps create awareness…
An extra hour to just spend doing something special, like reading to my girls. This voucher would sure be a great birthday present on Friday.
As a mom with 2 kids, it’s hard to take care of a baby and a preschooler. Most of my time is spent with my baby, and I feel that my preschooler is being left out. My project is to spend more time with my eldest and make him feel that he is and always will be important.
Shared and Twitted.
p.s. Jungle Oats Instant porridge
If I had an extra hour I would dedicate it to being more creative and get to all those scrapbooking pages and mosaics!
I’ve signed up! Started my project already – to knit a blanket before my baby is born in January. So exciting!
If I had an extra hour a day I’d have more to get my Trinity Heart projects up & running! I’m so passionate about offering assistence & support to other parents travelling the adoption journey!
I think about this a lot, and if I had an extra hour, I would definitely just sit with my boys and watch them play. The whole day is such a rush of feeding, washing, working, cleaning, that I feel I miss out on them. They have to do everything in a hurry, and having an extra hour will really calm things down.
I would visit my elderly neighbours and have a chat over some cake and tea. People forget the old folks and because I lost my elderly Dad I have a very soft spot for them. I have a young son and a baby on the way and they often make time for me and have a chat over the wall. I wish I just had that extra time from my busy day just to spend with them a bit longer.
With an extra hour and an extra R1000 I can think of many things that I would like to do.
Very cool project/initiative! Kinda like http://www.forgood.co.za but more compact
I would spend that extra hour making the people in my life feel appreciated in different ways. Helping with their kids, studies, gardening, moving, etc. Just everyday stuff that most people take for granted. In short, I’d use my extra hour to give someone else an extra hour in their day
I would spent my extra hour with my baby of 17 months. There is nothing better than to spend time with her…
I would love an extra hour. To spend that extra family time that is so special.
I would exercise, spend more time with my family and start a blog!
I would use that hour to spend more time on myself and take care of me which I never seems to be able to do.crosiing fingers!
If I could have an hour …it would definately be spent on Me Time since its the only time, I have No time for!
WOW! `WHAT A FAB PRIZE`
