Wild Live Africa s a wonderful initiative that gets people involved through social media, and allows you to participate through social media (if your kids are old enough, it would be brilliant to get them involved too).
I’ll keep it brief and away from press release language as best I can:
– Wild Live Africa is a South African environmental organisation that wants to create a wildlife conservation farm
– How do they want to do this? With your participation. They want you to subscribe to their Facebook app. All you need to do is click the subscribe button and donate. The longer you subscribe for, the less you pay.
– It might seem like there’s a catch, but there’s none. There are no hidden costs either (and I’m not getting paid for this).
– In “return” (aside from helping build a conservancy project), you’ll have access to content from regular updates on the farm and educational videos.
If you’re looking for a way to track where your money is going, or to do something tangible to help conservation (what could be more tangible than seeing the animals you are helping on the app), or to teach your kids about giving and protecting, then go to Wild Live Africa.
I think it could also make a great gift for someone – a “share” and a “stake” in a conservation project.
