My best chick lit books are…

Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series.  They’re filled with crazy characters and outrageous scenarios, but you can’t stop reading.

My best coffee-table book is…

The Children’s Mandela

My favourite kids’ books growing up were…

What Katy Did (Susan Coolidge), Heidi (Johanna Spyri) and Mary Poppins (PL Travers).  And I loved Enid Blyton’s Famous Five books.

My best parenting book is…

Bringing Up Girls (James Dobson).  Actually, I find all of his parenting books very helpful.

The book that I’ll reread again and again is…

Wuthering Heights (Emily Brontë).  I feel differently about Heathcliff every time I read it.

A Woman After God’s Own Heart (Elizabeth George)

If I was a writer, I wish I would have written…

Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen)

My kids’ favourite books are…

The Guess How Much I Love You books, anything by Dr Seuss, The Brave Young Knight (Karen Kingsbury) and the storybook version of Tangled.

My best author is…

Francine Rivers.  She creates such real characters and her stories speak so clearly to your heart.
