Win one of five Pond’s Age Miracle beauty hampers worth R850 each

Last week I wrote about POND'S, and how I had partnered with them for a month to try out some of their Age Miracle range, which research has shown visibly reduces lines and wrinkles in two weeks, which sounds pretty awesome.

This week, I'm giving away five hampers of the same POND'S products that I'm using: Intensive CellReGEN Serum for morning and night, Cell ReGEN Day Cream, and Deep Action Night Cream, worth R850 each.

I've been using the products since the beginning of this month and while I haven't noticed a significant change (YET), I'm enjoying using them, and not skipping any day or night time application. That says a lot as usually I'm too lazy, or don't love using something enough to keep at it.

Another thing that I'm more confident about is going out without makeup on weekends, something I've never really felt confident to do. I attribute this to feeling a bit better using the products, and hoping that a smile, positive attitude and some confidence could fill in for where the makeup isn't.

    I have the worst possible skin suffering from psioriasis and it is a daily battle. Being in the middle of winter surely comes with its challenges but having something that I absolutely love gives me the feeling that I am on top of things and that I maybe have the upper hand somewhat is the fact that I love water just so so much.     I wash my face with cold water, I use Pond’s Lasting Oil Control face wash, twice a day, and then apply Pond’s Perfect Colour Complex Beauty Cream, can’t live without, my skin feels clean, soft and fresh, I love it! I also eat lots of fruit & veggies, try to drink as much water as possible and exercise. #BeautifulHabits

    Be kind to your skin by washing off the make up every night before going to bed, use a toner and a moisturiser. Keep hydrated all the time and avoid the sun.

    My skin care tip is to drink lots of water. I really believe that it hydrates and moisturises soon from the inside. Sadly I don’t do it enough but I keep a glass of water by my bedside table to sip on at night and that really helps.

    Wear Sunscreen-Protecting yourself from sun damage will make you feel better now (how much fun could a sunburn really be?) and later on. Wear at least SPF 15 every day (higher if you’re spending time in strong sun) to help prevent skin cancer, wrinkles and sunburn. Oh, and don’t even think about going to the tanning bed. #BeautifulHabits

    #BeautifulHabits I make my own face and body scrub by mixing brown sugar with honey or olive oil and scrub regularly for smoother skin ….. I also make my own face mask using a mashed avocado, it helps to moisturize my skin and I wash off after 30 minutes …. I use cucumber slices to reduce dark circle around my eyes and to to combat puffiness #DIY making me feel and look better from the outside.

    #BeautifulHabits wearing a good pair of sunglasses when out and about. At the time one doesn’t realise how much one squints until the lines (initially only temporary) and headache appear. With my sunglasses my face is more relaxed and I look better and more confident.

    #BeautifulHabits Double cleanse! First with an oil based cleanser to dissolve make up and then a foam cleanser to remove any residue. It makes such a difference to the appearance of my (40-ish) skin.

    I like to eat lots of garlic, hot water with lemon in the morning and water with ginger, lemon and cucumber and added fruits every other day throughout the day – so far have not been sick in a long time and using Ponds Age miracles myself my skin is better than ever – would love to win since I am a consumer

    I wash my face twice a day, in the morning and at night – wash, tone and moisturise and def steam once a week, I have never had much skincare problems because of it, except for a hormone fluctuation. Also go for facials and extractions of white and blackheads as often as possible. Therefore I know from professional that at 37, I have no wrinkles and what I should purchase and use.

    My habit is applying moisturizing cream every morning and evening, after washing my face. This helps keep my skin soft, smooth and moisturised I never suffer with dry skin. Applying cream daily has kept my skin healthy and nourished and I feel confident of my skin and never use foundation or facial powder or concealer through the years.

    #BeautifulHabits I have clear, smooth healthy looking skin. My skin gives me a little bit more confidence when I go out into the world. The key to feeling confident is feeling comfortable and the first place to start is by learning to love the skin you’re in! I have learned to love all my imperfections and learned to look after my skin properly. I love my skin and treat it right. In addition to sunscreen I use cleansers, moisturizers and other skin care products that are suited to my skin type. I never go to sleep with my makeup on and ensure that I get suffient sleep. I follow a balanced healthy diet, eating foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and other vitamins. Most of the time I use soap free cleansers and a good scrub so as to keep my skin moist all the time. I drink at at least 8-10 glasses of water every day. Water gives a natural glow to my skin and keeps my skin hydrated. I include fruits and vegetables into my every day’s diet.

    I drink lots of water and cut down on sugar and I can see what a huge difference it has made on my skin..I hardly breakout. My skin is clear and I feel confident without any makeup.     My top tip is drinking green tea. Besides the usual cleansing, toning, moisturizing, my skin always feels better when I drink a few cups of green tea every day. Keeps me hydrated and it’s packed with antioxidants to cancel out the sneaky chocolate I had after lunch.
