Introducing the hands-free breast pump that lets you do almost anything while you express

January 9, 2017

I'm not slamming breastfeeding or expressing, nor am I complaining, but expressing milk takes a bit of time, and one of the most frustrating things for me is that I don't have hands free to do much else, other than read my Kindle, or scroll through my phone or iPad and type basic things with my one free hand.

So the new Willow Pump, introduced last week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, sounds very appealing – it's mobile, hands-free, non-invasive and supposedly quiet and discreet.

According to Willow's website, the pump "works quietly inside your bra, collects your milk in an internal bag, and tracks your volume through the app. Now you can move freely and do things—real things—while you pump."

The pump costs $429 and will be available this year.

Yes Tanja…I agree… expressing really limits what you do with that time especially if you expressing multiple times in a day. Wish I had this pump…it would really change my life. I could even spend more time with my baby while expressing.

That’s awesome! I’m reading this while I pump (awkwardly hiding in the boardroom at work while the VVVVVMMMM VVVMMM VVVMMM of my pump can be heard through walls) and I was *just* thinking how awesome it would be to have both hands free.
