I'm not slamming breastfeeding or expressing, nor am I complaining, but expressing milk takes a bit of time, and one of the most frustrating things for me is that I don't have hands free to do much else, other than read my Kindle, or scroll through my phone or iPad and type basic things with my one free hand.
So the new Willow Pump, introduced last week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, sounds very appealing – it's mobile, hands-free, non-invasive and supposedly quiet and discreet.
According to Willow's website, the pump "works quietly inside your bra, collects your milk in an internal bag, and tracks your volume through the app. Now you can move freely and do things—real things—while you pump."
The pump costs $429 and will be available this year.
