Pregnant? Win tickets to a brilliant workshop next month in CT and Jhb

January 20, 2017

Fantastic advice, great goodie bags, meeting other expectant moms, and awesome giveaways… this is what you can expect at the Baby’s Naturally events next month (which is also Pregnancy Awareness Month) in Johannesburg at the Radisson Blu, Sandton (Saturday 18 February) and Cape Town at The River Club, Observatory (Saturday 25 February 2017).

Philips Avent is giving away one ticket each to the Joburg and Cape Town events, so enter (details at the end) if you are pregnant, or know someone who is.

I find that workshops such as these are so useful – you often pick up stuff you don't learn in books, and you can ask questions and engage with other moms (I always enjoy comparing pregnancy notes).

Speakers include:

•               Dr Diana Du Plessis, who will speak about the importance of skin-on-skin contact with your baby

•               Marion Smith, who will speak about balancing multiples and finding the right caregiver once moms go back to work

•               Jaydene Philips, who will speak about baby and infant CPR and first aid

•               Meryl Bailey, who will speak about the benefits of teaching children multiple languages at a young age

There are much-loved sponsors on board including Philips Avent, Babeeze, Dis-Chem, Huggies, Tiny Love, Pure Beginnings and Bennetts.

There will be goody bags valued at R300 each, and if you book before January 31 you will receive a gift from Philips Avent worth R300.

Tickets are available at https://www.babysnaturally.co.za/ or via Babeze. Tickets cost R300 each, or R500 for a couple.

To enter to win

Simply comment below, mention which city's workshop you'd like to attend, and you'll be entered into the draw. This giveaway closes on Thursday 26 January 9am, after which the winners will be announced on the Rattle and Mum Facebook page, and then emailed.

Please note that the tickets do not include transport to the venue.

I would love to attend the Cape Town event. It’s always great to learn as much as you can as a first time mom before your little one arrives.
