What’s up… my week in pictures

What I've been doing with my baby…

We're loving our four-week Bub Hub Bedfordview BabyRock stimulation course

New things I've spotted…

I seldom go into Woolies without spotting something new… I love this bouquet with green flowers, and this dog treat tin is just awesome, especially the line "Not for the underdog". I also came across this great deal at Sorbet – 20% of all waxing treatments between 3 and 17 February as part of their Valentine's Day promo.

What I've eaten…

I went to the new'ish Jamie's Italian at Melrose Arch as part of a media group, which meant I got to taste a variety of dishes. The anitpasti were superb (the cabbage salad, of all things, was memorable). I tasted the Julietta pizza which was sensational, and while one wouldn't think of ordering a veg burger at an Italian restaurant, I did, and it was divine. It's described as a herby chickpea, bean and six-seed patty with balsamic onions, cottage cheese, gem and tomato in a brioche bun. I'd probably order it again… if I ever get into the restaurant, that is.

The soonest online reservation I can get is middle March, but they do accept walk-ins – you just need to be there at the "right time", or be prepared to wait a bit. Is it worth it? Absofrickinglutely.

And just because… my kids

(Yeah, yeah, I've read the article about the doctor who found mould in her child's Sophie the Giraffe, but I'm taking my chances in these early days of Sophie play).
