Live music, character shows, appearances from the likes of Spongebob, Dora, the Turtles and Chase and Marshall… this is some of what you can expect from this year's NickFest, on at the TicketPro Dome in Joburg on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March.
What's more is that the brilliant comedic trio, Jason, Nicholas and Donovan Goliath will be hosting the event, and the three of them alone are worth attending (though there are plenty of other reasons too). TV presenter and actress Minnie Dlamini will be co-hosting.
There will also be the Slime Area, a 625-metre square space where kids will be able to play around in 10 000 litres of gooey slime (the organisers suggest you bring a towel and change of clothing for your kids for afterwards). There will also be a KinderJoy interactive area where kids can play on the Magic Kinder app, and see the KinderJoy mascot Kinderino.
Tickets for NickFest are on sale at www.ticketpros.co.za and select Edgars and CNA stores and Postnet outlets. Tickets are R290 per person, or R270 per person for a family of 4-6 people. Entrance is free for children under one. Tickets for the Slime Area are sold separately, priced at R150. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
