With so many online shopping sites these days, the new ones have to stand out, and the newly launched CaraMia rises high with its big names that sit alongside items that you might not find easily elsewhere, swift delivery (plus free delivery over R500), and an easy to use and navigate site. CaraMia also sells gift cards, has a registry, and offers gift wrapping too for a nominal fee.
There's a huge section for kids and babes, MiniMia, and here are just some of the brands you can expect: Aden & Anais, Baby Einstein, Doona, Fisher-Price, Tiny Love, Melissa & Doug, Leapfrog, O Lief, Nocturnal Affair, Yookidoo and Moba (the list is a looooooong one though).
l was concerned that the prices for the kids and baby range would be higher than larger and more established shopping sites, but I did some cost comparisons, and the prices were either on a par, or even slightly less, which is good to know.
If you're looking for gifts for others, or something to treat yourself or decorate your home, there are stunning candles, frames, clocks, baskets and glassware.
There are also very useful jewellery boxes, remote control organisers (no more lost remotes in between seat cushions) and tissue boxes.
Good to know too that CaraMia also has a store at the Norwood Mall in Joburg, where you can find these gorgeous gifts and homeware items.
But wait, there's more… next week I'll be giving away a R1000 voucher to spend at CaraMia!
