Would you try a female intimacy tablet, with proven great results?

October 5, 2018

When you get invited to a launch event of a female intimacy supplement, by one of the country’s most respected pharma and skincare brands, you say yes. Why? Because you’re curious, and because you know how many moms – and women – battle with low libido.

And the more I read and listen, the more I see how difficult it is to find the mojo – and even the time – to get frisky when you’re co-sleeping, still carrying pregnancy weight, haven’t showered in two days, can’t go to the bathroom alone without the toddlers trailing you, can’t open the babyproofed bathroom cupboard door to find the razor to shave your legs. Or when your idea of fun is just trawling through Instagram and Facebook for 20 quiet minutes with a bar of chocolate, without someone needing you, before falling asleep.

It’s forgivable, and this isn’t a post to make you feel bad. Rather, it’s a post about an intriguing new product from Lamelle, called Lady Prelox, that has been clinically proven to increase libido, and promote a woman’s sexual comfort and pleasure.

Fear not though… it’s not about turning you into a sexual vixen that your partner doesn’t recognise, or having your sex drive skyrocket so much that you can’t focus on anything except your hot partner. Rather, it just helps you in a measured yet meaningful way… read on to find out what Lamelle says about Lady Prelox.

First things first though… it’s completely normal to have a low libido and issues with arousal, and it’s not necessarily all about the fatigue or the unshaven legs. According to Lamelle, a woman’s arousal and sexual drive can start to fade as early as her 30s, long before the onset of menopause. and there are a lot of good reasons behind it. Here’s what Lamelle says:

1. Female libido is directly linked to sexual function In the early 2000s, an international team of scientists developed a multidimensional matrix for measuring a woman’s sexual function, satisfaction and experience.

It’s called the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and it is widely used by scientists around the world. Importantly, sexual desire and arousal (which we can roughly categorise as “female libido”), make up two thirds of the overall FSFI list, meaning it’s a vital part of a woman’s normal sexual function.

The FSFI:

  • Sexual desire
  • Arousal
  • Lubrication
  • Orgasm
  • Overall satisfaction
  • No pain

2. 63% Of all women over 30 report at least one concern on the FSFI

(PS: You can calculate your own FSFI score here).

3. Low libido and sexual function are also caused by oxidative stress and a drop in nitric oxide in the body, as a result of the chemicals, pollutant etc that we’re exposed to, plus stress.

Okay, so we know it’s normal to not be the sexual being you were in your 20s, but now what? Well, this is where Lady Prelox could come in (if you know what I mean). Lamelle says that Lady Prelox boosts female libido and sexual function by over 60%.  In a series of clinical trials on the product and its ingredients, Lady Prelox was proven to improve female sexual function and satisfaction across all six of the concerns listed on the FSFI in women from 37 years to more than 50.

Here are some more stats:

Lady Prelox showed an 88.8% improvement in all sexual satisfaction concerns in women aged 37–45 who used it for four weeks. That jumped to 126% after eight weeks of use. In women who are just hitting menopause, ages 45–55, Lady Prelox showed a 60% improvement in four weeks and 73% after eight weeks. Even in women over 50, who’ve already experienced menopause, Lady Prelox was proven to boost sexual function and libido by 60.7% after eight weeks (if you’d like more info on the research and the stats, let me know and I can get this from Lamelle).

Other need-to-knows:

  • Lady Prelox is an exclusively plant-based dietary supplement
  • You don’t need a script to get Lady Prelox. It’s available online or from DisChem, and costs around R499 for a box of 60 (you need to take one a day)
  • In the studies, Lady Prelox was shown to be 100% safe, with no adverse side effects

Is it just me or are there are there other working moms out there that have literally no sex drive and especially after the birth of my boys. It’s like my husband will look at me and I’m like WTF! It’s not that it’s on purpose, but juggling work, kids and home, by the time I’m done in the kitchen at night, I am so exhausted that I’m actually moody sometimes. A glass of wine and I’m KO for the night – no kinky stuff. I would be game for trying this product. I do want my husband to feel wanted as well.
