What was the best piece of parenting advice you received?

January 19, 2012

Among all the assvice I received when I was pregnant and a new parent, I received some gems.

One of them, which came from a few second-time moms, worked brilliantly for me, and it’s a tip I pass on to pregnant moms (even when they don’t ask for it).

Here it is: don’t heat up your baby’s bottles. It takes a few minutes to heat up a bottle, while your baby hollers for it, and if they don’t know a warm bottle, they’ll be happy to settle for any other temperature (of course, there are exceptions).

It worked for me…

What worked for you? What’s the best advice you ever got? Please share here…
