I’m always rabbiting on about my iPhone and how much I love it, so it was a fun eye-opener to review the Samsung Galaxy Y Pro phone for Girl Guides. There’s a massive choice of apps, including loads for kids, many of which I write about for iPhone. Below is my review.
At first glance I thought it was a Blackberry but found it a little funkier and sexier. It’s also a well-priced mid-level Android that combines a touchscreen with a keyboard that is tailored to suit the young professional and those who love to text. I liked the easy connectivity to Gmail, Facebook and Twitter, and the access to thousands of new apps.
I found that it offers everything else a Smartphone should – GPS, wifi, 3-megapixel camera and a micro-3D card to store music and movies.
And at R1499, it’s cheaper than its rival Blackberry and super cool too…
