Cool painting activities for kids – and grown-ups

May 25, 2012

I was happy to see the newly opened Artjamming in Melrose Arch, having just moved from Blubird. It’s now strategically situated on the piazza, so parents can have a meal at one of the nearby restaurants, while their kids can splash paint, create art, and have fun, in a monitored environment.

How it works is that each child chooses a canvas and colours, and paint whatever they went – there are stencils to guide them, and assistants too.

I did this around a year ago with my Living and Loving colleagues as a team builder, and we had great fun. We laughed, splashed paint and most of us created keepsakes (I still have my little Hello Kitty canvas. Obviously). It’s great for parties too.

There are also branches around the country – Cape Quarter, Cavendish, Willowbridge, Lonehill and Irene. For more info, visit their website.

Historie o przybyszach z obcych planet nadal rozpalaja nasza wyobraznie.
