I have pretty much craved and fantasised about a Knomo laptop bag for about two years, when I became a freelancer. I love the Knomo styles, and they’re also rated highly for their quality and durability (according to multiple internet searches).
And as if the iStore read my
hints thoughts and Pinterest boards, I received the Knomo Devonshire 13 inch laptop bag for review. And it’s completed me. Firstly, it’s cherry (I call it pink), is made of leather, and has some sexy straps. In fact, it feels like a smart handbag – just a bigger one that can sleekly fit devices.
It has a side pocket, and two main pockets inside, plus three assorted little pockets for business cards, pens and odds and ends.
Right now, it beautifully holds my Macbook Pro, an iPad, Kindle and notebook, plus Macbook charger and assorted cables and stationery. I expected quite a lot of bulk with my load, but the bag still looks and feels slim.
If you’re low maintenance, it could double as a handbag too, but since my handbag is usually filled with snacks, wet wipes, some Lego pieces and a toy truck, I need the extra luggage.
At R2 999, it’s not a cheap bag, but it’s an investment piece, and one that’s worth bagging for its quality – especially if you’re using a bag daily for work. Christmas is coming up too, so it’s never too soon to drop hints. I should know…
