Rock Paper Scissors is the newest kiddie venue in Joburg, and it’s something a little different (yet wonderful). Here you won’t find ball pits or trampolines, but rather table after table and nook after nook of craft options and art ideas.
Kids can paint, draw, make things, paint pottery or mosaic and so much more. My son wanted to make a helicopter, and bam – the owner Annette brought out some tools and guided him on how to make one.
You can order drinks (apparently food will be offered soon), and there are gorgeous things to buy – from sewing sets to tutus, floral boxers and pumps.
They’re also offering a great holiday programme from December 9 to 21, suitable for ages three to 11. You can join for either a day at R145 (cool drinks and snacks included) or for a week (five days) at R600. There are loads of fun activities, crafts and games included.
You can find Rock Paper Scissors on Facebook . They’re open from Monday to Saturday, and are at cnr Susman Ave and Morell Road Blairgowrie.
