10 ways your parents lied about your body

When I was a child, I was told that I had to wait two hours after eating before I could swim, that chewing gum would live in my stomach forever, and that if I didn’t wear a jersey, I would catch a cold. And I have little doubt that my mom was told all of this by her mother when she was a child.
