Johnson’s Baby says less is more

May 5, 2014

On shelf soon you will notice that Johnson’s Baby Wipes have had a bit of a makeover. Or rather, a makeunder. But before you panic that you are getting less or smaller wipes, relax! Johnson’s have simply changed the packaging, which now contains up to 40% less plastic.

This packaging shift means that less is actually more – more of a saving to the environment, and more proactive steps to ease Johnson’s carbon footprint.

The wipes – still in the same size and with the same formulation – come in two varieties, Extra Sensitive and Gentle Cleansing. You can buy packs of 20 (recommended retail price R19.95), 80s (recommended retail price R34.95) and 240s (recommended retail price R82.95).

The new packs will be introduced to stores soon, so you can start buying your more earth-friendly wipes.

PS: I use Johnson’s wipes to remove my makeup and clean my face when I’m too lazy to do the whole shlep of cleansing, toning and moisturizing (which is more often than not, I hate to admit).
