If you book a Club Med holiday before 14 May this year, you can save up to R2 700 per person in their early booking bonus promotion. This doesn’t mean you need to go on holiday before then – you can book a holiday for later in the year, without having to pay more if exchange rates increase.
If you book before 30 July this year, the savings will then be reduced to R2 500 per person.
Depending on where you’re going, a package can cost around R20 000 per adult, which includes flights, accommodation and all meals. While this might sound like a lot, when you consider all that goes into a one-week holiday like food, drinks and entertainment, it’s a good deal. Interestingly, I wrote a blog post about the difference in price between a week in Cape Town for a family of four and week at a Club Med Mauritius resort, and Cape Town came out more expensively. You can read the post here.
Club Med’s all-inclusive packages include:
· Flights, airport taxes and transfers
· 7-night stay in a club room at the specified Club Med resort with great food, snacking, open bar day and night; entertainment and sports activities
· Brilliant kids clubs & facilities
· Comprehensive travel insurance
In addition, kids under *six stay for free and those under 17 benefit from great savings of 60% off the adult price.
