Johnny Clegg needs no introduction, but suffice to say that his show, The Royal Albert Hall Concert, which he’s performed in London and Joburg, is sensational. I saw the show in Joburg last year, and the entire audience clapped, danced, sang, cried and smiled – it really was that good.
Clegg is back with the show, this time at Grand Arena, Grandwest, on 31 May.
There’s one show only, and tickets are priced between R184 and R375 from Computicket. This isn’t really a spoiler, but Clegg plays all our favourites – Cruel, Crazy Beautiful World”, “Scatterlings of Africa”, “I Call Your Name”, “Impi”, “Asimbonanga”, “Great Heart”, and “African Sky Blue”.
Real Concerts is giving away a pair of tickets, plus a CD and T-shirt to one winner. To enter to win, comment below, and you’ll be entered into the draw. Please note that the prize does not include transport to the show, and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. The giveaway closes on Monday 19 May at 9am, after which the winner will be announced on the Rattle and Mum Facebook page, and emailed.
