22 of the most unusual baby names of 2013 (think Ransom and Charger)

May 19, 2014

Two weeks ago the most popular baby names for 2013 in the US were announced – Noah (toppling Jacob, which had topped the list for 12 years) and Sophia.

The name database also includes more than 1 400 baby names given to children for the first time in 2013 to five or more kids in the US.

According to Today Moms, there are names with weird spellings like Finlea and Massyn, Elynne and Karsan. There are names from around the world such as Junhao, Mokshith and Motoki. There are combo names, like Charlotterose and Marcusjames. And there are some old names — Hypati, Thisbe, Romilly and Calisto.

But have a look at these really off-the-wall names. I hope these kids don’t get teased horribly one day.
