Win one of eight places to the iPad parents’ event – one person who goes will win an iPad too

June 24, 2014

iStore Sandton Drive is hosting a special workshop for Rattle and Mum readers, and they want eight of you to attend next Tuesday, 1 July, from 3pm to 4pm.

Aside from drinks and snacks (very important!), a trainer will be covering typical iPad and education topics – from guided access, parental control and what apps to use, to iCloud, iTunes U and iParent. The workshop is suited to any parent interested – you don’t have to have an iPad or a strong knowledge to come.

The session will be informal and fun, and you can ask as many questions as you want.

But wait, there’s more! An iPad Mini will also be given away to one of the participants (cue amazing Oprah moment).

To enter to secure a place to the workshop, simply comment below, and you’ll be entered into the draw. The giveaway closes on Friday 27 June at 10am, after which the winners will be emailed. The event will take place at the iStore at 1 Sandton Drive (not the Sandton City one).

Please note that this is a special workshop event, but that there are free iPad Parent Workshops at iStores around the country every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 11am. To book for one of these free workshops, click here, or phone your nearest iStore.

    aaaaaaaahhhhh 🙂
I have always been chatting to my hubby about educational programs but have not now where to start or how to go about it. This would really be a move in the right direction for the little brains we are bringing up. It sometimes makes parents feel uneasy as we all want to be assured we are doing the right thing for our children ‘s future

I would LOVE to go to this! My boys take over our iPads every chance they get & it would be great to be able to help them get the most out of their use of the iPads!

Having a young child, knowing the in’s and outs of technology is very important so that as a parent, you can protect them and teach them.
