Get the royal treatment if your car breaks down (and thereby avoid a meltdown)

October 10, 2014
If you’ve read enough of my blog, or followed me on social media, you might know that I’ve had a fair’ish share of car issues. I’ve had dead batteries, cars that wouldn’t start for a range of reasons, and I even had my car stolen from a gym parking lot when I was seven months’ pregnant (I thought I’d just forgotten where I had parked it owing to my “pregnancy brain”, but sadly, this wasn’t so).
These mishaps have been met with tears, laughter, rants on Twitter and frantic calls home, but when anything happens and my son is in the car, my anxiety and Twitter rants sky-rocket.  And while I could probably follow a YouTube video and change a tyre, I would have no clue what to do if I broke down on the side of the road (aside from Instagram it).

I probably also wouldn’t feel  totally safe attempting something like that on the side of a busy road, or even a deserted street. Especially if I was alone, and even more so if I had Max with me in a broken-down car.

Fortunately, there are companies driving good roadside assistance (see what I did there?), like King Price car insurance, helping you if you have a dead battery, flat tyre, and mechanical or electronical breakdown. King Price will also help you if you’ve run out of petrol, and if you lock your keys in your car (hands up with me if you’ve ever done this?!?).

Knowing these guys, I suspect they would even bring me some chilled Chardonnay and my son some Lego to take the edge off while they sort out my car. With their King’s Emergency Assist, you’ll be covered  24 hours a day seven days a week, 365 days a year. This insurance company will also help you if you’ve been in an accident by transferring you to the nearest hospital.

And if you’re worried about time-consuming insurance quotes with words and clauses that are headache-inducing, fear not – King Price will handle your queries and quotes online or via phone, in a non-intimidating way (much like a knight in shining armour).

For more info, check out their website here or call 0860 00 98 72.
