Win one of five Pond’s Age Miracle beauty hampers worth R850 each

July 11, 2016

Last week I wrote about POND'S, and how I had partnered with them for a month to try out some of their Age Miracle range, which research has shown visibly reduces lines and wrinkles in two weeks, which sounds pretty awesome.

This week, I'm giving away five hampers of the same POND'S products that I'm using: Intensive CellReGEN Serum for morning and night, Cell ReGEN Day Cream, and Deep Action Night Cream, worth R850 each.

This is an intensive, highly potent serum to  boost the skin’s capacity for young cell regeneration. A nourishing addition to any skin care regimen, the POND’S Intensive Cell ReGEN Serum offers optimal results when paired with the POND’S Age Miracle range.

Designed to target and reduce the signs of normal to dry ageing skin, this day cream has a velvety feel, and is also enriched with vitamin C, Micro-collagen and SPF 15 for effective care and protection from sun damage.Screen Shot 2016-06-29 at 9.26.02 AM

POND’S Deep Action Night Cream is specially formulated to work while you sleep, when your cells’ regeneration potential is at its peak. The formula has a rich texture and is instantly absorbed into the skin to help accelerate the renewal process overnight.

I've been using the products since the beginning of this month and while I haven't noticed a significant change (YET), I'm enjoying using them, and not skipping any day or night time application. That says a lot as usually I'm too lazy, or don't love using something enough to keep at it.

Another thing that I'm more confident about is going out without makeup on weekends, something I've never really felt confident to do. I attribute this to feeling a bit better using the products, and hoping that a smile, positive attitude and some confidence could fill in for where the makeup isn't.

To enter to win a POND'S Age Miracle hamper

Comment below, and share a #BeautifulHabits skincare tip, for example, something that makes you feel or look better from the outside. There's no right or wrong answer – we're just keen to see what your best habits are, which I might share in an upcoming blog post. For an extra entry, please share this giveaway to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, using the hashtag #BeautifulHabits.

The giveaway closes on Monday 18 July at 9am, after which the winners will be announced on the Rattle and Mum Facebook page, and then emailed. Please note this giveaway is open to South African residents only, and you don't need to be a mom, or of a specific age to enter. The prizes are not exchangeable for other products in the range.

I have the worst possible skin suffering from psioriasis and it is a daily battle. Being in the middle of winter surely comes with its challenges but having something that I absolutely love gives me the feeling that I am on top of things and that I maybe have the upper hand somewhat is the fact that I love water just so so much. This is the #BeautifulHabits that gives me that awesomeness feeling.

Wear Sunscreen-Protecting yourself from sun damage will make you feel better now (how much fun could a sunburn really be?) and later on. Wear at least SPF 15 every day (higher if you’re spending time in strong sun) to help prevent skin cancer, wrinkles and sunburn. Oh, and don’t even think about going to the tanning bed. #BeautifulHabits

#BeautifulHabits I have clear, smooth healthy looking skin. My skin gives me a little bit more confidence when I go out into the world. The key to feeling confident is feeling comfortable and the first place to start is by learning to love the skin you’re in! I have learned to love all my imperfections and learned to look after my skin properly. I love my skin and treat it right. In addition to sunscreen I use cleansers, moisturizers and other skin care products that are suited to my skin type. I never go to sleep with my makeup on and ensure that I get suffient sleep. I follow a balanced healthy diet, eating foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and other vitamins. Most of the time I use soap free cleansers and a good scrub so as to keep my skin moist all the time. I drink at at least 8-10 glasses of water every day. Water gives a natural glow to my skin and keeps my skin hydrated. I include fruits and vegetables into my every day’s diet.
