I featured Zoey's second birthday bunny party on the blog, and her mom Stephanie Louw just put together another sensational party for her gorgeous daughter's third birthday, this time with an art theme.
"Zoey is into painting and drawing so it was easy to choose the theme," says Stephanie, who lives in Cape Town. "With art being the theme, activities was also sorted! I did everything myself, but my mom made mini aprons for each kid."
"I needed a table that can get full of paint so I bought a sheet of plywood, painted it and used a bed as a base. It was the perfect height for the toddlers! Each child got an A4 size canvas, along with paint brush, paint and apron.
"On the table I had extra brushes, paint sponges, glitter and corks to stamp with. At the end of the table I had a colouring corner with printed colouring pages, crayons, glitter glue and other stationery. We had a strip of paper stuck on the wall, which the kids painted as well."
"For the kids, there were rainbow cupcakes, small rainbow lollies, white chocolate and 100's and 1000's popcorn, art palette cookies, Steri Stumpies and small juices.
"For the adults, there was a cheeseboard, crudités, strawberries, nuts, jugs with flavoured water, freshly sqeezed orange juice and an ice bucket with alcoholic drinks.
Stephanie's top party-planning tip? "Don't worry too much about food! They always play so much and forget to eat."
