Natura is de-alcoholised, which means the alcohol has been extracted to leave no more than 0.5% abv. So you might be wondering that the point is, but if you’re looking for something easy-drinking, delicious and great for times when you don’t really want to consume alcohol, but still want the wine-drinking experience and flavour.
Good to know is that Natura contains about a tenth of the kilojoules of a regular glass of wine. An average wine contains around 293 kJ per 100 ml. Natura contains 29.68 kJ / 100ml. Pregnant women might be curious to know if Natura is safe for them. Natura says that the consumption of any alcohol during pregnancy is discouraged and Natura does contain the very small percentage of 0.5% alcohol. However, in the case where a pregnant woman is allowed controlled amounts of alcohol, Natura could be a safe option.
There are two varieties: Natura Classic White, a blend of Chenin Blanc and Muscat. It’s described as “crisp and refreshing with tropical fruit flavours on the nose, the palate is juicy and beautifully integrated.”
The Classic Red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsaut, which “intrigues with ripe red berries and sweet spice on the nose while the palate follows through with a smooth mouthfeel and lingering aftertaste”.
This week, we’re giving away a case of each!
