Do you have used baby and kids’ clothes? Naartjie wants to donate them, and will give you a shopping voucher for each item

April 8, 2015

For the past two years, Naartjie Kids has been collecting used kids’ and baby clothing in stores, giving shopping vouchers in return, and then donating the clothing to needy communities.

This year, they’re kicking off another campaign, the Love Foundation Clothing Drive. It starts tomorrow (the 9th), and Naartjie hopes to collect 30 000 items of clothing to help clothe around 6 000 disadvantaged kids in the Western Cape, who are part of the Goedgedacht Trust

How does it work? For every piece of wearable kids’ clothing (of any brand, not necessarily Naartjie) that customers bring into a Naartjie store, they will receive a 5% discount voucher. Customers can add their vouchers together and get up to 25% off their purchase at one time.

If customers bring in more than five pieces of clothing, their remaining vouchers can be used on their next purchase. The cut-off date to bring clothing in and earn vouchers is the 15th of June and the vouchers expire on the 30th of June this year.
