Good news if you’re acidic (and you probably are) – A. Vogel Multiforce launches two new flavours

January 23, 2017

Each time my reflexologist works on my feet, she laments that I'm way too acidic, and that I need to take A Vogel's Multiforce Alkaline Powder every day to alkanalise (it doesn't sound like a real word, but it really is).

My diet isn't thaaaat bad, but so many things are acid-forming, not just sweets or wine, for example. Dairy products, meat, grains, refined foods, white flour products, coffee, cold drinks and alcohol are all acid forming, and unless you're consuming a lot of vegetables and water, chances are high that you'll be acidic.

Why should this matter? Well, being highly acidic leads to headaches, fatigue and lack of energy, moodiness and feeling run down. As if moms can afford to feel more tired than we do daily. Also, cuts can take a little longer to heal than normal, your muscles and joints ache,  your breath and mouth often have a sour aroma/feel, or you often have a fuzzy headed feeling.

The reason my reflexogist suggests Multiforce is because it has calcium, magnesium and potassium, as well as organic vitamin C. According to Multiforce, it's an alkalinizing mineral supplement. This doesn't mean it makes your blood more alkaline, nor does it make your stomach (which has to be very acidic) more alkaline.  However, what it does is give your body the alkaline minerals it needs to better regulate its internal pH levels, and to assist with the removal of excess acid that can be harmful to your health.

It also:

  • Acts as a digestive antacid
  • Has bowel cleansing effects, helping to keep you ‘regular’
  • Helps prevent formation of kidney stones
  • Provides vital minerals needed by many systems in the body
  • Supports bone health
  • Has antioxidant benefits

I'm pleased to see that Multiforce is now available in two new variants – Lemon and Mango, which are way more pleasant for me to get down than the plain variety.

Multiforce is also beneficial for people who do sport or gym training as it helps combat buildup of lactic acid and muscle soreness.  It's also apparently great for people who have gout or osteoarthritis.

It's available from chemists, and I'm off to drink a glass of it now. I'm reminded of how much I need it, daily, and not just sporadically.
