I learnt about Heartfelt last week, after photography Natalie Cornall shared their link via Facebook. I went onto their website, read their stories and looked at their pics and I sobbed. Why? Because Heartfelt is an organisation of volunteer photographers who give photo memories to families that have stillborn and premature babies, or kids with terminal and serious illnesses.
The result is an intimate and often heartbreaking series of images that tell stories of loss, goodbyes and battles.
Heartfelt is based in Australia and parts of the UK, and all services they offer to families are free of charge. You can see some images on their Facebook page, and on their website. Here are some of the stories, from the website.
