Huggies does more good and donates a month’s supply of nappies to Othandweni Children’s Home

November 27, 2013

I know that there are a lot of organisations that give, and I know that many give without us ever knowing the extent, or the reach.

But I wanted to write about this latest donation to:

a)  info on another home doing amazing work, and b) give a high five to Huggies (I only know of some of the organisations and places they help out, but I do know it’s a lot. Plus they support an organisation that I so love – the Grace Factory).

Two weeks ago, they donated a month’s supply of Huggies Dry Comfort to Othandweni Children’s Home in Soweto. The home offers residential care for up to 90 children of all ages who have been abused, abandoned or neglected.  Twenty of the children in the home are still in nappies. The centre also has limited places available for destitute mothers and pregnant women.

Nhanhla Ncizaof Mafikizolo, and also a Huggies brand ambassador, was there for the handover too.

Good to know: The Dry Comfort pack has undergone a face lift with a brand new logo in line with the rest of the Huggies range. The nappies still have the Disney characters, Winnie the Pooh and friends, on the outer cover for little ones to enjoy. Available at all major retailers, Huggies Dry Comfort come in four sizes: size 2 (3 – 6kg), size 3 (5 – 9 kg), size 4 (8 – 14 kg) and size 5 (12 – 22 kg).

Huggies® Dry Comfort®. Dry and comfy for up to 12 hours.
