Julia Donaldson, the author of favourite kids' books such as The Gruffalo, The Snail and the Whale, Charlie Cook's Favourite Book, Monkey Puzzle and Room on the Broom (plus many others), will be in South Africa and you can see her in two ways, plus win tickets to see her live!
1. She'll be appearing in The Gruffalo and Friends with Julia Donaldson in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The show looks pretty awesome, and you can book tickets through Computicket.
2. She'll be at free publics event to sign books at:
- Exclusive Books V&A Waterfront, Cape Town on Saturday 7 February at 11am
- Exclusive Books Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, on Saturday, 13 February at 11am
I'm extremely excited to meet this writer whose brilliant imagination and writing have made for many special bedtime reading moments. I suspect I'll be quite intimidated too, but hopefully I won't flee like the fox, snake and owl did.
