Just when the world seems a little too crappy to handle, along comes a story that makes you believe in hope, goodness and kindness again.

This wonderful tearjerking story is about 12-year-old Alanna Wall who founded Polished Girlz, a non-profit that visits children’s hospitals to do glittery manicures on the fingers of sick kids and kids with special needs.

It’s remarkable how something so “small” means something so big to little souls.
