There is not much more delicious out of a can than condensed milk (though Caramel Treat comes a close second), so I decided to try out this condensed milk biscuit recipe from Sasko. Like with peanut butter or chocolate, how wrong could one go?
And thus I discovered a new favourite – easy to make, and sadly, or luckily, very easy to eat (fortunately this recipe makes about 50 biscuits). You can add nuts, choc chips or glace cherries to the mix – I opted for pecan nuts, but I think white or regular chocolate chips would be amazing. Here goes:
Ingredients
250 g butter, softened 180 g sugar 5 ml Moir’s Vanilla Essence 397 g can condensed milk 4 x 250 ml Sasko Cake Flour 10 ml Moir’s Baking Powder Optional extras:250 ml chocolate chips 250 g Moir’s glace cherries 100 g pecan nuts, chopped Add chocolate chips, cherries or pecan nuts to raw dough before shaping.
