It’s never easy choosing only a few pictures to feature in “Show me the party”, and Natascha Miller’s shots were no different. The pictures show an adorable one-year-old, and a talented mom who made a huge effort to celebrate her daughter’s first birthday.

Natascha writes: “Kaylie’s first birthday party was held at our home, and we were so blessed to have family and friends celebrate her special day with us. The theme was “cupcake’ because she is our little cupcake! I did the decor myself after many hours of shopping and a long day of decorating. The cupcakes were made by my mother-in-law, and the cake by Whimsical Cupcakes.

This was her birthday poem (can’t recall where exactly I found it)

Covered in cake and icing,

Your smile will stretch ear to ear.
One candle celebrates,
The joy of your FIRST year.

We sing Happy Birthday,
You play amidst wrap and bows.
We marvel at how you touched our lives,
Just ONE year ago.

We remember the first time we held you,
whispered your sweet precious name.
You’ve changed our lives forever,
