Beautiful – the 10 top National Geographic Kids photos, taken by kids as young as nine

National Geographic Kids runs My Shot, an online photo community where kids can submit their nature-related images to the site. Have a look at the breathtaking images, which are now on display at the US vice president’s residence in Washington, D.C.

New sets of photographs will be chosen every month to encourage children to take pictures of nature.

While this is an American competition, I still love the idea of having a platform for kids to share their pictures (PS: there is a local competition, iPhotography, running at the moment, where schoolkids can enter their images to win).
