There are times that I come across something so brilliant on the internet that I laugh and marvel, and then send the URL to all of my colleagues. Raising the Ruf is just that – brilliant. It’s a site run by photographer, dog blogger and model Sara Rehnmark who lives in California, and who takes pictures and videos of her three-year-old Pharoah Hound, Rufus, or Ruf for short.
On her blog, Sara says: “I think my dog is hilarious. He’s been a goofball ever since he was a puppy. I take pictures and videos of Rufus because he CRACKS me up and makes me smile!!! I hope he’ll crack you up too.”
The pics are gorgeous, and they come with awesome captions too. Once again, I’m astounded by people who can not only get their dogs dressed up, but get them to sit still for the right shot. I battle trying to get a pic of my dogs unless they’re in deep sleep.
