Good to know: refer a friend to Club Med, and you can get a discount off your holiday

I’m sharing this because I think it’s a great idea, and becauseI like incentive programmes that reward you for spending (much like my Clicks Club card, or Exclusive Books rewards when I spend there). Plus, I like the concept of saving money (even if it means that saved money goes towards a new pair of shoes).

Club Med (who sent me on the most delicious and relaxing holiday in Mauritius last year) has a new Ambassador programme which works like this:

– If you have ever been to Club Med on holiday, you can receive a discount on your next Club Med all-inclusive getaway when you refer someone you know who has never been to Club Med before.

– For example, if I have been to Club Med, and refer someone I know to a great holiday at any of the 80 resorts around the world, I will receive R2 200 off my next Club Med holiday, and my friend/family member will receive a discount of R1 100 on theirs (once they’ve made the booking). The bookings need to be made via a travel agent or the Club Med call centre.
