Do you remember as a child, ever having sprouted seeds on a saucer with cotton wool, and excitedly watching day by day, waiting for it to grow?
I recently did something similar with my son, and it was great fun not only reliving my childhoood, so to speak, but watching the wonder of nature in my kitchen.
What's even more amazing is that we sprouted seeds in Huggies Wipes, instead of cotton wool. I could have named about 100 uses for wipes, but growing seeds in them would not have been on that list as I assumed the cleaning agents in them would prohibit seed growth.

However, according to Huggies, their wipes are made from three layers of a material made up mostly of natural fibres. They contain no alcohol or parabens and have the simplest formula for a gentle clean as they're made up of 99% water.
Huggies has shown how natural their wipes are by introducing an awesome 360º, virtual reality video, which starts in baby’s room with mom changing her nappy, and as mom stops to grab a wipe, the immersive journey begins. The viewer is taken to a forest where they get to hear how natural the base sheet of Huggies Baby Wipes are.
They are then transported to a waterfall to see how pure the formulation that adds moisture to the wipes actually is. This is followed by an educational section where Huggies poses the question “How natural are Huggies® Wipes?” and the answer is “Natural enough to sprout a bean”. You can watch the video on your smartphone (you'll get the gist without a VR headset, but obviously you'll get the full experience with one).

Here's how to sprout your own beans…
