Hill’s pet food has two bits (or bites) of good news

November 17, 2014

You probably know how much I love a good campaign to help others, and Hill’s Pet are running a great one, that will see hundreds of dogs and cats in shelters being fed.

It’s called Hill’s #Click2Feed, which aims to give shelter pets a yummy Hill’s Christmas dinner. To donate a nutritious meal simply like Hill’s Pet Nutrition South Africa on Facebook or follow on Twitter, and share or retweet using the #Click2Feed hashtag.

You can nominate your favourite animal welfare charity as a recipient on the site, and the total meals accumulated will be shared between the five organisations with the most nominations.

The campaign is running until 27 November, and here are some sample tweets that you can copy and paste onto your own tweet:

 Hill's Ideal Balance treats - full range - festive - LATEST

The other news is that Hills also has some treats for cats and dogs, which they’re punting as a Christmas stocking filler for your pooches and kitties. And while I can’t vouch for their taste (even though I have a fondness for treats), my dog adores them.

Hill’s Ideal Balance come in three varieties for dogs (around R49 for 227g);

·         Oven Baked Naturals with Turkey and Cranberries – for real Christmas flavour!

·         Oven Baked Naturals with Chicken and Apples

·         Soft Baked Naturals with Duck and Pumpkin

For cats, there’s Crunchy Naturals Treats with Real Tuna (around R35 for 56.7g).

The treats are available from vets. For more info, contact Hill’s  on 0800 228 783 toll free, email infoza@hillspet.com, or visit www.idealbalance.co.za
