I love this Philips and Disney pairing, which has created a range of a cute and safe lighting range for kids.

There are three product ranges – Disney Candles (R149 each), Disney Color Lamps (R499 each) and Disney Night Lights and Projectors.

The candles come in Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Princesses, which create a soft candlelight effect when you tilt it. It also turns off with a tilt too.

The LivingColor lamps light up in 64 different colours, and are available in MicroPlanes, MicroCars, MicroAerial and MicroPrincess.

The night light and projectors come in Jake, Spiderman, Cars and Princess, and to project character scenes onto the ceiling, you turn a wheel. The night light works with a simple switch.

All these lights will be available from Kids Emporium and Toys R Us from July.
