When I was pregnant, I loved reading about other women’s pregnancies, and in fact my favourite section in any parenting magazine is the one that profiles the pregnant woman. I’m often curious about what expectant moms look like, what products they’re using, and their fears, emotions and hormone-fuelled nine months.

If you’re pregnant, a mom, or curious about pregnancy (er, like me), there’s a reality show starting tonight on kykNE at 8pm, called Nege Maande.

What I like about the concept and the trailer I’ve seen is that it’s real time so you get the “truth” of what expectant moms are feeling, and what they’re going through, with glimpses into their lives, and a “cast” of their spouses and family.
