What do you do with all those pictures you’ve taken of your life, kids, moments and memories (once you’ve posted them to social media, of course)? Are they in a file somewhere, on your phone, or even deleted because you had to make space on you phone or laptop?

I’m quite “old school” and usually print out pictures and slot them into albums, but recently I had a photobook done from an overseas trip, and it not only sits on my coffee table, but is also more beautiful, stylish and share-worthy than any of my other picture solutions.

An awesome – and surprisingly affordable – option I’ve recently come across is Photodeli, which allows you to creatively and easily make photobooks. They’ve just introduced baby digibooks for you to keep those memories in hard copy, and not just on Facebook or on a USB drive you can’t find. They also make brilliant gifts for grandparents, and how awesome would it be for your child to one day page through beautiful books that mark their births, early days, milestones and moments?

The good news is that you don’t have to be a designer, creative, scrapbooker or artist to get started, or even make a photobook that’s worthy of sitting on your coffee table. The site has software and templates to help you along, so that your hardest task will be choosing which gorgeous pictures to use (good thing you can add pages and pages of pics).

There are English and Afrikaans templates, and to get started, simply go onto the Photodeli DIY site here and follow these steps:

1. Choose your best images.
2. Select your template from the Products page that provides options for Boy and Girl in English and Afrikaansand click on the Create Now button.
3. Upload the selected images – up to a maximum of 37 images can be accommodated in the templates.
4. Fill in the text box provided by adding the details of your baby’s name, date of birth, time of birth, weight at birthand place of birth.
5. Simply drag and drop the images into the templates provided.
6. Have fun with the easy-to-use software that will allow you to change the Page Layouts, change theBackgrounds and also add ClipArt items.
7. Once completed, click the Order button, register and pay for your product via the online gateway – the productprice is a minimal R80 (VAT inclusive).
8. Allow 48 hrs for Photodeli to mail your interactive Digibook to you.
9. Once you receive it, share it via email and/or social media with everyone that you know.
