Deborah Chilcott-Teubes organised a 4th birthday party extraordinaire for her son Liam. You might know Deborah from her work with the Happy Ethan Project, to help and uplift children in need. The theme of Liam’s party was Jake and the Never Land Pirates, and here is Deborah’s little black book of suppliers for the party:
- Miles of Smiles for puppet show, face painting and balloon sculpting, and even funky pirate bangles for the teens.
- The Flower Spot in Woodmead for candy-striped ribbons, red and white lanterns (which were hung at different sizes), buckets for the party packs and other pieces of decor
- Macaroon for the personalised stickers of Liam
- In Good Company for candy-striped straws, rental bee hives for the lemonade, candy-striped table runners, bunting
- Kadee’s for the little Jake
- Naartjie and Phoebe and Floyd for Liam’s clothes
- JK Productions for the coffee bar
Liam’s granny made the cupakes, while Deborah made the cake – a three-tier chocolate cake with “canonballs” (Chuckles from Woolworths) and all the food.
