I love Vichy’s new sunscreen range packaging

September 17, 2014

For about 10 years, I’ve been using Vichy sunscreen for kids on my face. I didn’t come to it on my own; rather my dermatologist recommended it for its high SPF (50) and the fact that it’s suitable for sensitive skin. She also reassured me that it isn’t oily, and therefore wouldn’t cause any breakouts. I’ve been using it since, and rely on it for my long runs in the sun.

I was excited to see “my” sunscreen at DisChem a few weeks with new packaging. There’s the Vichy Capital Soleil Kids Spray SPF 50+, and Vichy Capital Soleil Kids Milk SPF 50. They are both fragrance free and have no parabens, and have what they call broad-spectrum UVA and UVB filtering.

At R345 for the spray, and R399 for the milk, they’re not cheap, but I find them long lasting, and quite frankly, sun protection is one of those things I’m not too keen to skimp on.
