It was my birthday this week, and I got some beautiful roses from my inlaws (not just because of the roses, but I really do have the most incredible inlaws). My son also chose a Hello Kitty cushion for me from Takealot, and he was so excited to give it to me – just as I was thrilled to receive it.

All the delicious things: my daughter playing, the Nutrific dessert we created at the breakfast event this week (more info about it on the blog now), and some mangoes that were part of a media drop because they're in season. I adore mangoes – the boxes were soon finished.

My son is loving his Samsonite Star Wars Ultimate Backpack with wheels and I'm looking forward to sleepovers that don't involve me shoving his clothes into plastic bags or my Country Road tote bag because he didn't have anything else suitable.
