I’ve been on a saving spree over the last two and half weeks with 22seven and their #GY$T (Get Your $ Together) campaign) and since we’re all feeling a little generous. one of you can win a R1000 voucher for your favourite store in SA (eg Woolworths, Yuppiechef, iStore, MAC etc).

All you need to do is guess what I’m likely to save once the challenge is over, which is on 14 August, 22 days from when I started. You’ll read here that in a week, I saved R2 176.30, so you can guess/thumb suck what my total savings will be if I keep it up, which I’m determined to do. You don’t need huge accountancy or maths skills – it really is a bit of a guessing game.

To recap, 22seven, the money management app (you can download it for free, and it helps you work out how much you’re spending each month, and how you can save) gave me seven challenges to make me rethink how I spend, and save. Some of them were easy – put coins in a jar, while others like pack your own snacks and don’t buy anything at work were a bit trickier. You can read more about what I’ve been doing here.

The closest person will win the voucher, and if there is more than one person who guesses closest, I will put those people into a draw, and pick from there.
