It’s a subscription service that plans meals, and each week will send you the recipe, and all the ingredients in the correct quantities – no need to measure anything. Last week we tried out Daily Dish, and I chose the vegan option as it appealed the most (I’m “only” a vegetarian, and eat some fish here and there). I’m a lazy cook, and most times I can’t be bothered, so this is a brilliant solution for me. Of three dishes we made last week (Asian tofu salad, passata pumpkin noodles, and Megrehbi lentils), I’d say the most “difficult” thing I did was grate tomatoes, or chop an onion.

My son helped me cook, which was a highlight, and something we don’t really do much of. Our food was fantastic, and I was surprised that vegan meals using such simple ingredients and methods could yield such tasty results, which my son ate too.
