Win a Philips AVENT feeding set for their 30th birthday!

September 22, 2014

Philips AVENT is 30 years old this year, and I’m not sure what my mom did when I was a baby without their bottles, breast pumps, microwave steriliser (and a microwave, for that matter) and feeding utensils.

To share the birthday love, Philips AVENT is giving away a two bowl set, feeding bib and weaning spoons to one lucky reader. And even if you’re not a parent of a baby or toddler, trust me – this will make an amazing gift for one who is (so you can always enter to win for them).

Did you know?

The first AVENT product was the feeding bottle, which was made by Edward Atkin to replace other bottles that had hard, long and narrow nipples, and an unstable design. His design included a wide base and neck for easier filling and cleaning. Its nipple was the first to be made entirely of odourless, tasteless silicone. Soft and broad in shape, it was as close to nature as he could make it with a unique venting system to help reduce colic in newborns.

Philips AVENT came to South Africa 24 years ago.
