I have some good news and some not so good news – Macaroon has a new-look online personalised stationery store, which is easy to navigate and makes everything look even more wantable.
The not so good news is that you're probably going to want A LOT, but now's not a bad time to start putting together those Christmas wish lists.
The new site still has everything we love – from stickers, cards, ribbons, invitations, diaries, notebooks and bags that you can personalise – but in a new format. Macaroon has moved to online only, and no longer have their Greenside store in Joburg. I find their new site as user-friendly as the old one, but it's a lot bolder and more colourful.
Macaroon was launched in 2010, and I remember clinking glasses of bubbly and eating cake at their first birthday. Many purchased gift stickers, notebooks and personalised cards later, and Macaroon is still one of my favourites locally.
I often buy personalised notebooks at the end of the year as teachers and family love them, but not without treating myself to one too.
