So in case you are new to parenthood, or expecting, or in case you would like to know more, Huggies Gold make nappies for girls, and nappies for boys. Much like Mars and Venus. There are differences between boys and girls, and Huggies has them both covered (so that you can spend less time changing nappies and any spillages, and more quality time with your baby).
So what makes them different, aside from their design? Well, the absorbency pads are higher up for boys and more centrally positioned for girls, catering for the different points of urination. The absorption areas enable quick absorption at the right point so that the liquid is evenly distributed and locked away.

These new Huggies Gold nappies also offer your baby great protection, fit and safest leakage prevention. The nappies are also shaped like underwear and have a triple absorbent core with an elastic waistband and stretchy fasteners.
Huggies Gold for Boys & Girls are available at all major retailers in four sizes – size 3 (6 – 10 kg), size 4 (8 – 14 kg), size 4+ (12 – 16 kg) and size 5 (15+ kg). The product is on offer in a bag and a megabox.
Huggies also has the following cool stimulating and developmental (and fun) activities that you can enjoy with your baby (who will most probably not have a leaky nappy!)
- Fill a plastic bottle with building blocks and let your little one roll it over the floor and shake it about to kick up some noise. Join in and together throw out the contents onto the floor and help to fill the bottle again.
- Take an empty gift box and fill it with different coloured papers. You can also make use of paper with different textures such as printing paper or tissue paper and you can also include pieces of tin foil for a shiny attraction. Allow your baby to explore the different colours and textures in the box. Your baby will also enjoy manipulating the tin foil with his/her little hands.
- Build a tower with blocks and encourage your baby to break it down and rebuild it together before breaking it down again.
- Explore the garden with your little one. Pick some flowers and a variety of leaves with different shapes and sizes. Get some sticky paper and stick the flowers and leaves onto the paper. Cover the back of the sticky paper with a coloured paper and stick it onto the fridge to show and tell visitors.
- Get moving. Turn up the radio and dance with your baby. Sing along to the songs and include a tickle and a kiss to add to the fun.
- Build an obstacle course with cushions and soft toys. Guide your baby through the course over, under and around the obstacles.
